About

Glad you’re here! I’m a product designer based in Brooklyn, New York. I have always loved art & design, creativity & learning, and therefore always sought it. Back in the day, I completed a summer program at RISD in Computer Animation. I graduated from Pratt Institute with a bachelors in Industrial Design focusing on product and furniture design. While there, I studied abroad in Copenhagen, at the Denmark Design School focusing on furniture and Scandinavian design.

I’ve worked with a product design studio, a high-end architecture firm, a global fashion retail company, a multidisciplinary design studio and more. I’ve also served for the Peace Corps in Panama which led me to acquiring my Masters in Education from Western Governors University. I then taught humanities to middle school students for several years.

Currently, my work focuses on digital product design. As a former teacher - conducting mounds of research and digitizing materials on the daily with very specific people in mind, UX design seemed the perfect next step for me. A realm where I can continue researching and creating in a fast-paced, sharp-eyed environment, while also being able to have a huge impact - bigger than one class a year. My previous design and management experience has helped me tremendously as I now collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams on tight deadlines and with loose direction.

When I’m not designing, I’m exploring the restaurants in my hood (one country at a time in alphabetical order), hosting educational wine tastings, sewing clothing, or doing something outdoorsy.

I love learning & designing, especially when it involves folks who are mission-driven with their talents. Drop me a line and let's chat!
