MonsterNums

At MonsterNums, I embraced the challenge of designing an educational math platform tailored for neurodivergent learners aged 8-11, with a focus on accessibility and engagement. Initially contributing as a UX Writer/Content Strategist where I co-created comprehensive content guidelines emphasizing clarity, inclusivity, and empowerment. From crafting concise, friendly microcopy to designing reflection screens that avoided triggering rejection sensitivity, my work ensured every interaction fostered confidence and progress.

Later, as a UX Design Co-Lead, I led initiatives to incorporate customization features—MonsterNums’ unique value proposition. This included redesigning the onboarding flow to seamlessly integrate learner and parent preferences, while maintaining engagement. I collaborated across teams to refine a design system with ADHD-friendly color palettes, accessible typography (e.g., Atkinson Hyperlegible), and kid-friendly components.

By working iteratively in agile sprints, I drove impactful changes that improved focus, reduced frustration, and aligned user needs with business goals. My work empowered young learners to thrive in their math journeys.
